Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all workshops, cooking classes, demonstrations and other services provided by Cuisine de Liesbeth. By making a booking you agree to these terms.

1. Who is Cuisine de Liesbeth

Cuisine de Liesbeth is the business of Liesbeth Torenbeek, based in Beuningen (Gelderland, the Netherlands). From May to September, activities also take place in Saint-Laurent-la-Vallée (Dordogne, France). Contact: info@cuisinedeliesbeth.nl or +31 6 53 75 45 03. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 90917707.

2. Offers and quotes

Workshops and cooking classes are tailor-made. You receive a quote in advance stating the price, the contents and the date. A quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. The booking is final once you have confirmed the quote in writing (by e-mail or message).

3. Prices and payment

All prices are all-inclusive as described in the quote: ingredients, use of equipment, food and drinks. Payment is made using the details on the invoice, within 14 days of the invoice date and no later than before the start of the workshop, unless agreed otherwise.

4. Demonstrations

A Thermomix demonstration at your home is free and without obligation and does not commit you to a purchase. The purchase of a Thermomix itself is handled by Vorwerk and Vorwerk’s terms apply to it. Cuisine de Liesbeth acts as an advisor and is not the selling party.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling by you

Up to 14 days before the agreed date you can cancel or reschedule free of charge. If you cancel within 14 days of the date, costs already incurred (such as purchased ingredients) may be charged. If you cancel within 48 hours of the start, up to 50 percent of the quoted amount may be charged. Rescheduling by mutual agreement is always the starting point.

6. Cancellation by Cuisine de Liesbeth

In case of illness or force majeure, a workshop may be moved to a new date in consultation. If that is not possible, you will receive a full refund of any amount already paid. Further compensation is excluded.

7. Allergies and dietary requirements

Please report allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements no later than 7 days before the workshop or demo. Liesbeth takes them into account as much as possible, but cannot guarantee that dishes are completely free of allergens. Participation and consumption are at your own responsibility.

8. Liability

Participation in a workshop, demo or picnic is at your own risk. Cuisine de Liesbeth is not liable for damage to persons or property, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Any liability is in all cases limited to the amount of the booking concerned.

9. Recipes and materials

Recipes, texts and photos by Cuisine de Liesbeth are intended for personal use. Commercial use or publication without permission is not allowed.

10. Privacy

Personal data is only used to handle the booking and communication properly. Read more in the privacy policy.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are preferably resolved amicably first; failing that, the Dutch courts have jurisdiction.
